Question: When a school bus has its stop sign out and there flashing lights are cars to stop on both sides of the street, being that the street is a two way. Or is it only on the side of the school bus.

Curious

Alabama law does not require stopping on a divided highway.

Uniform Vehicle Code[edit]

When I visited the NCUTLO website, the current version Section 11-705 described the organization's proposed code for "Train blocking crossing." Section 11 did not mention anything about school buses. So I removed a sentence and a dead link referring to Section 11-705 of the Uniform Vehicle Code.Folklore1 (talk) 19:16, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does the NCUTLO have a section about school bus traffic stops in its current proposal for a UVC?Folklore1 (talk) 19:16, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

pedantic...[edit]

...I may be, but this article covers school-bus traffic-stop laws (you must stop for a school bus) and school bus-stop traffic laws (what to do at a school bus stop). Can anyone think of an all-encompassing title?Nankai (talk) 23:39, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think the current "School bus traffic stop laws" seems to cover it. SchuminWeb (Talk) 02:55, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
