Question about "Personal Life" section[edit]
Hi, I added something newsworthy to Sean Gilmartin's "Personal Life" section yesterday, but it was removed, restored, removed again (by two other Wikipedia posters) before the page was protected. It has to do with this story, involving Gilmartin's refusal to wear a mask in the White House Briefing Room, when attending a briefing given by Kayleigh McEnany, White House Press Secretary (and Gilmartin's wife), on December 2, 2020 (see, for example, [1].)
This news item may not be related to Gilmartin's baseball career, but it does have something to do with his presence as a public person, especially one connected, however indirectly, to the White House. This incident was widely reported by various reputable news outlets.
Is it inappropriate to add this information to his page? If so, why?
Many thanks.
