300.000 is ridiculous! back 100 years ago all of Namibia didnt have half as many inhabitants... "death camp" is pure fiction! the German site mentions 2.000 prisoners of which 3/4 died due to bad imprisonment conditions.

  • Changed 300,000 to 3000, as per the BBC4 TV documentary "Racism: A History", aired Wed 28 Mar, 23:30-00:30. It seems that the entry as it stands, including the "death camp" statement, is derived from that programme. DafadGoch 23:09, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I dispute this fact entirely! Are we to have a "holocaust revision" for a holocaust which most of the World does not even know about? I have personally done a lot of research into this matter and we stand at least 250,000 victims of what would be classed as genocide. There is now way out of it. The experimentation of the later nai-eugenic doctor Euegene Fischer and the preservation of Herero and Khoi-San heads, body parts and remains is also well-documented. Shark Island was a slave labour camp, brothel for German soldiers to rape Herero and Nama women and the town of Luderitz was built on persecution and slavery. This is a shameful part of German history that the whole world should now about in view of the aberrations committed only a couple of decades later. The only difference between Shark Island and Auschwitz is the absence of zyklon-b gas chamberr and, of course, a numbers game.
