@IanDeaville: Are you planning to create an article for the latter and a disambiguation page? Otherwise the move seems a little pointless. We probably need to establish whether both, or either, subject satisfies WP:GNG too. Arguably the Southampton one does as there is a whole book about it - although whether that constitutes a reliable third party source may still be questionable. If only one of the two is notable, there's only going to be one article, and therefore no need to disambiguate. Waggers TALK 13:25, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Waggers: I have over the last couple of weeks generated Shirley Baptist Church, Solihull UK. The move of this page is justified now as part of the overall disambiguation. The original prompt for this process was the discovery that a Google search in the UK for "Shirley Baptist Church" would deliver in the right-hand-side info pane a mixture of details about both churches - address for Solihull with Wikipedia text from Southampton. Part of this problem is that the page for Shirley Baptist Church, Southampton was called "Shirley Baptist Church", so ambiguity with other similarly named churches is already occurring outside Wikipedia. I am considering options for a full disambiguation page, and welcome input from more experienced contributors. IanDeaville (talk) 16:27, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think the "UK" bit of the Shirley Baptist Church, Solihull UK article needs to be removed - that's why I couldn't find the article when I changed ", Southampton" to ", Solihull" in my address bar :) Waggers TALK 08:26, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
