"Henryk Kupiszewski prize"[edit]

Can anyone substantiate the existence of the "Henryk Kupiszewski prize?" The cited (Italian-language) ref doesn't actually use that term, and googling it only points to mirrors of this article along with the subject's own resumé. Besides Mr. Corcoran, Has anyone else won this prize?67.168.135.107 (talk) 21:01, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Based upon the cited text,[1] would it not be more accurate to state that Mr. Corcoran was considered for the Gérard Boulvert prize, but that this was awarded to Giuseppe Falcone. 67.168.135.107 (talk) 22:50, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am waiting to hear from this article's creator, who we can be sure has this on his watchlist.67.168.135.107 (talk) 08:12, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know anything about a prize but Henryk Kupiszewski was most certainly real and notable: pl-wiki [2], book by [3] and the subject matter seems to fit. So I don't know how important this prize is, but it seems important enough within the discipline to be worth mentioning in the article.VolunteerMarek 23:22, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Update 2016[edit]

I'm going ahead with a factual update since Simon Corcoran has taken up a position at Newcastle University this year. I do have a personal interest though no commercial interest, so happy to have changes reviewed or pinged at BLP/N. I'm aiming to avoid anything subjective so easily within guidelines based on my experience with them. -- (talk) 17:04, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
