Changing the name of this page to "Vlora Castle"[edit]

All serious archaeological and historic literature references this castle as the castle of "Vlora" rather than "Skela" which is just the district it lies in. Old maps and primary sources like Evliya Celebi also refer to this castle as the Castle of Vlora. Even the Albanian Wikipedia page names it like that so we should rename this too. Merging the Vlora Castle pages[edit]

So the Albanian wiki has two pages regarding this castle https://sq.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalaja_e_Vlor%C3%ABs and https://sq.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalaja_e_Skel%C3%ABs, the former is connected to the turkish page too https://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avlonya_Kalesi while the latter is connected to the Macedonian and English. The two Albanian pages should be merged together, the Turkish should be linked to the other languages and it should be renamed to Vlora Castle, or Kalaja e Vlorës in the Albanian wiki page as this is the scientific correct name — Preceding unsigned comment added by DerArchivStöberer (talkcontribs) 18:48, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Then why do they have different locations on Wikidata and different designations in sq:Lista e Monumenteve në Shqipëri? bdijkstra (talk) 07:51, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
