Recent changes to this page[edit]

I've just reviewed some of the changes that have been made to this page since I did the translation and I disagree with a couple of them. The use of the adjective "Slovenian" and thus the title "Slovenian People's Party" and not "Slovene People's Party" was a concious decision to be consistent with the Wikipedia article on the modern Slovenian People's Party. Similarly, the Wikipedia article on the Communists in Slovenia is entitled "League of Communists of Slovenia". At the very least, the use of the title "Communist Party of Slovenia" (as has now happened in this article) can't represent best practice as there is no article with this title. Dear A jacksn, let me first congratulate for the excellent work on this article. As to your remarks: there have been several discussions about the alternative use of Slovene vs. Slovenian in wikipedia. You might check on the wikiproject Slovenia about them. There is a basic consensus that when the ajective clerly refers to Slovenes as an ethnic/national group, and not to Slovenia as a country, Slovene should be used instead of Slovenian. As to your second remark: at the time, the name of the party was Communist Party of Slovenia (it was renamed to League of Communists only in the late 1960s, if I'm not mistaken). The redirect pages are used precisely for such cases, when the appropriate term in the text of an article doesn't coincide with the title of the article of reference.
