Appropriateness of this page as a disambiguation page[edit]

All that is required to check whether this page should be a disambiguation page or go directly to the album by Bis is to type "Social Dancing" into Google (438,000 results as of this writing) and then "Social Dancing" Bis (11,000 results). Social dancing referring to a kind of dancing is vastly more popular. -DoctorW 04:36, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter what Google says. Social dance and Social Dancing are two entirely different phrases. As per Wikipedia policy Wikipedia:Naming conventions#Album and song titles and band names disambiguation is only to be used when needed. Since Social dance and Social Dancing are two entirely different phrases it isn't necessary to create a disambiguation page. Both articles have an otheruses template above directing people to the other article just in case. - Throw 08:54, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If someone comes to Wikipedia and types in "social dancing", it is far more likely that they'll be looking for an article about social dancing than about an album by Bis. -DoctorW 19:04, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bis social dancing.jpg[edit]

Image:Bis social dancing.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
