  • Why French/German? She's French.
  • And where is that birth date from? IMDb lists her as being born on July 29, 1958. I realize some information on IMDb should be taken with a grain of salt, but the point is, where's the 1961 date from? --From Andoria with Love 09:08, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • The year 1961 is from herself, of course. Actresses tend to change their birth dates. 1958 is correct. Ask Wim.

Solveig Dommartin's D.O.B.[edit]

There has been some confusion over her year of birth with wikipedia giving date of birth 16/5/61 yet saying she was 48 at time of death. According to this article: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117958008.html?categoryid=13&cs=1 her mother told reporters that she was born in May 1961 making her 45. I don't know what reason her mother would have to give false information. I originally changed the date to 29/7/58 but I have tonight changed it back to 1961 in light of this article. Someone else has changed the IMDB DOB likewise.

DOB again[edit]

Her date of birth is being changed every other day due to the date 29 July 1958 being reported at first. A few days ago someone put her place of birth in Algeria and now it says Paris again. If people make changes, please include verifiable citations in the discussion pages. I don't know if Paris is right or if it is Algeria but I feel that the variety.com website gives good evidence from her mother that she was born on 16 May 1961. Is there an official notice anywhere that can provide proof? 84.69.50.194 23:37, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:WingsofDesireMarion.jpg[edit]

Image:WingsofDesireMarion.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
