Stanislaw Julian Ignacy Ostrorog[edit]

It was great to see this early photo of my Grandfather, however the statement that "at the turn of the century he moved definitively to Paris" is incorrect as he and my Grandmother Joyce (ne Fowke) lived in Chelsea London. My mother (Sally)the youngest child, was born there in February 1909. Also there is no reference here to my Grandfather's war service during WW1...or his reparation work at the end of the war. His obituary in the "The Times"... I have the cutting... would give you those details!!! I could send you a copy of this obituary if you wish to update and correct your biography. I can also give you the Chelsea Street address where my Grandparents lived.

                                               Thanks

Hello Kiwi Grandchild. Thank you very much for posting the message about your grandfather. It would be useful to have the details contained in the Times obituary. However, sending may be tricky. You could of course edit the article yourself with help from someone if you need it. Alternatively, do you have the date of publication of the Times edition, which you could post here? Also, do you know where he was buried?
Sorry for the delay in replying, I found your interesting note quite by chance. Regards, Po Mieczu (talk) 23:07, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
