The object in the hands is certainly a bhurjapatra book. Unlike tadapatra books, which are stiff, bhurjapatra bends.

What is the statue infront of parakrama samudraya?[edit]

according to articles it is named as a statue of parakramabahu king 1. Also it has some identities similar to pulasthi rishi. So as i have read some articles online it has similarities to both king parakramabahu 1 and pulasthi rishi. Now what i want to know exactly is who is appearing from that statue?
