Neutrality / trivia

This article reads like PR. Someone who isn't me should totally fix it - I'm lazy.

Does This actually mean anything???: Greatest Day of His Life Steven would often remark that the greatest day of his life was speaking on the phone with a young girl named Emily. He owned a Tamagotchi named after Steven, and he knew it took someone of special wit and charm to even OWN one of the weird Japanese virtual creatures, much less name it after an Irish pop star. "Hopefully," he said in an interview, "he has not given up on his pet, for something silly like origami."

btw it was originally a young _boy_ named _Cormac_, hence the gender confusion.

This article lacks neutrality, I've done some tidy up! but sheesh Sauj 01:36, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Copyvio

The majority of this page has been ripped directly off Steven's home page bio... http://www.stephengately.co.uk/

this diff is the problem copyvio. I am removing the copyrighted content. as well as the templates as they really seem to just refer to those bits. MrWeeble Talk Brit tv 17:06, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism

Someone has been vanadlizing this article, I edited the last couple of lines. Also, I find it weird that none of his first names, according to the article, is actually Stephen. Leonsedov 21:10, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Attended film premiere — is this noteworthy?

Why is it noteworthy that Gately attended the film premieres for a film for which he provided the theme song? And why does it matter that the stars of the film also attended the premiere? Surely that's to be expected. I'm inclined to remove the sentence "He attended the premieres of the film both at the Edinburgh Film Festival and at the Empire Theatre in Leicester Square, along with the actors from the film including Julie Walters and Jamie Bell". Anyone object? —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 19:09, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Death

The Jan Moir section currently reads that The Guardian reported where Moir lives and spread the murder rumour - this appears to be false since the footnoted reference links to a Gurdian aricle reporting that other sources had spread such info. 69.242.29.80 (talk) 12:56, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
