Merger proposal[edit]
Seems to me that Disk image is redundant, and its content should be migrated in here. --Jerome Potts (talk) 20:03, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
I disagree. A Disk image is a file that can be used to produce a copy of a disk, regardless of what it contains: music, programs or even random noise. A System image is just one of the things a Disk image might contain. In the Disk image#System backup section, instead of merging, I added a "main article" link to this article. - I agree with Klaus Wuestefeld, a disk image is a more general thing than a system image. Why aren't there any refs currently on this article? MadScientistX11 (talk) 16:58, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
