Worthy of inclusion?[edit]

Even assuming that they can be rewritten in comprehensible English, I'm not sure that Marukawa's comments about Hatoyama's mother and Gandhi are really sufficiently worth including in the text here. Removing them myself will take me into 3RR territory, but perhaps someone can either explain how they are worth retaining or otherwise snip them. --DAJF (talk) 13:28, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The statement of Tamayo Marukawa‎ was public utterances in Diet discussion about Kodomo Teate law, and was broadcast on TV all around the Japan.
Hence I deem it worthy to descrive.--—Preceding unsigned comment added by A Japanologist (talkcontribs) 14:26, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, but politicians make public utterances that are broadcast nationwide on a daily basis. I am questioning whether this particular utterance of hers was especially memorable and deserves being included in a biographical article about her. --DAJF (talk) 14:44, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
She is a backbencher, the remark is important and one for the books for her. —Preceding unsigned comment added by A Japanologist (talkcontribs) 15:06, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
