External Link to Bachelor's Thesis[edit]

Hi all. It looks like there has long been an external link to an honors bachelor's thesis. I've recently removed it, as two things are unclear to me:

There's a copyright notice on the top of the link to the cached site. It appears to be a record from a public university, and it was hosted on Geocities. Are we confident that this is not a link to copyrighted material?
It's a link to a bachelor's thesis. Even if it isn't copyrighted (we shouldn't link to copyrighted material), would it be in line with WP:EL to keep it as an external link?

I'd be more than happy to see it restored pending discussion if the link doesn't violate WP:COPYLINK. Does anybody else have thoughts on this? — Mikehawk10 (talk) 06:52, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
