This page is created as part of a project to make sense of the page on Textile manufacturing. It contains most of the information ofn hand techniques from that page, all be it heavily edited. The life span of this page will be short, as it too must be forked and the wool specific material must become a separate page- and the focus must be on pre-industrial methods not just hobby techniques- but till then it fulfills a need.
It need extra material on the hand loom cotton industry in India.
Statistics should be added.
