Very simple.

After many years I have re-entered the arena of cultural work involving the theatre of Dario Fo and Franca Rame, whose works I have been translating for many years, generally at the request of the authors and their agent.

I have almost no time to be doing extramural computer work, so I have to snatch odd moments to make these Wiki entries.

And of course I have to go through the whole Wiki learning process, which will take time.

I am adding substantive content to my Wiki / Dario Fo entries, but it will take me time to do that.

Some thoughts and concerns: first, it appears you are claiming to have translated a play into English and are creating a Wikipedia article for that play when there has not as yet been an article about that play as it was titled in its original language (i.e., the Italian). Have you considered writing an article about that version first, since it is the original one on which you are claiming that your own translation is notable?

Next, I am concerned that you are writing an article in which you cite yourself— Wikipedia guidelines strongly discourage editors from writing articles on subjects to which they are very close because they may have a conflict of interest (see WP:CONFLICT). Could you address this concern?

Third, one of the reasons I originally tagged this page for speedy deletion was because you initially created it with next-to no content (one sentence referencing your own work was the article's text). If you had created the article in your user sandbox (see WP:SANDBOX) before positing it to Wikipedia generally, and had developed it there first, I would have been much more reluctant to tag it for deletion. Are you familiar with the sandbox concept? It is a very useful tool for developing nascent articles before posting them to the full Wikipedia database, especially for people like you who may not have the time to devote to a full article from the get-go. Regarding the question of neutrality of content.

Yes, the item about the translation has been posted by the translator himself.

And because the translator has been fighting for years for the general rights of translators to be properly credited for their work, he feels it right that a fully credited reference be given.

If anyone feels this is a problem, please open a discussion.

"Rights" of translators does not equate with "notability" of same— notability comes with recognition from other sources that the translation is somehow notable or interesting outside of the original language of the piece of literature in question. A translation deserves credit! No argument there at all! Does that mean it also is worthy of note?? Hm. Of that I am less convinced as yet. KDS4444^Talk 09:35, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Unrelated: It appears that this play has been produced in the United States under the title "The Devil with Boobs," not "The Devil in Drag" (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/culturemonster/2009/04/in-the-anarchic-realm-of-provocateur-dario-fo-satire-and-slapstick-are-never-mutually-exclusive-as-witnessed-by-the-devil-w.html). I suggest moving it back to its previous title.
