I was going to add Template:Fanpov to this article, but I realized that it might be more constructive to raise the issue here instead.

The current text is not written from a neutral point-of-view. It clearly takes the perspective of a proponent of Alexander's theories. I'm not sure how this can be fixed without mangling the language. I have to admit that I think Alexander's ideas are essentially "snake oil" in the sphere of architecture theory. The high profile that pattern languages have achieved in the software industry tends to create a misconception among non-architects that Alexander is a leading architectural theorist. He isn't, though I don't think his marginal status in that profession should count against him in terms of notability. Theoh (talk) 19:04, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
