Supposed influence on The Magic Goes Away[edit]

A recent edit held: "Sandra Miesel identified it as one of the influences of Larry Niven's The Magic Goes Away series.[8]"

Really? Don't have the Miesel piece on hand to check, but there seems very little relationship between the premises of de Camp's story and Niven's series. Possibly de Camp's later novel The Tritonian Ring was meant? It really does present a scenario similar to Niven's -- strikingly so, in fact -- and so could well have influenced The Magic Goes Away.
