issues[edit]

At present, this articstartle reads as little more than a list of Wombles episodes. There could be a much more in-depth analysis of the Wombles here, explaining how it is about how the Wombles use litter and is therefore making an ethical "Keep Britain Tidy" point; there could also be analyses of the characters in the Wombles. Strange sentence[edit]

What on earth is meant by:

... although the "green" message was ahead of its time in the 1970s ...? It seems to imply that the green movement had not started in the 70s, which is complete rubbish; it started in the 60s, and by the 70s there were already mass protest rallies. -- 202.63.39.58 (talk) 08:24, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
TO be truthful i dnt have a clue what it is implying is there a reference? if nto remove it--Andrewcrawford (talk - contrib) 12:34, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think in a mainstream entertainment programme it was ahead of its time 88.98.88.239 (talk) 10:34, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
