Comments[edit]

Most of this page was clearly not written by a native English speaker. Someone should revise the text. DJKuulA (talk) 21:02, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the copy-edit template to the article, which also needs translation of block-quoted text. Matuko (talk) 12:25, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Claim Maradona should have received a yellow card[edit]

The article claims that Maradona should have received a yellow card for the incident. That is clearly true under the current (2020) laws. Under the laws as they stood in 1986, he would probably have been cautioned for "ungentlemanly conduct", but I'm not sure it's as completely clear-cut. In any case, the cited reference doesn't adequately support this claim. Grover cleveland (talk) 22:04, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Add parenthetical to page name[edit]

Since this is quite a niche topic, my opinion is that there should be a parenthetical after the title such as (sports) to delineate it from Hand_of_God_(TV_series) & Hand_of_God_(art). These should all have a disambiguation page, anyway. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Patron Vectras (talkcontribs) 00:09, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

There should be a hatnote leading to the disambiguation page.

Why not show a pic of the actual event?[edit]

There's pictures showing Maradona's hand hitting the ball and despite that being the subject of this article, it's not here. Is it a copyrighted image? 24.126.186.4 (talk) 21:32, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
