Untitled[edit]

Does anyone else get the feeling that this page was probably written by Tim Kash himself?? [This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 80.41.47.175 (talk) at 22:51, 3 September 2005. It may differ significantly from the current revision.]

Removal of reliable, NPOV references[edit]

Why are the references from BBC News, IMDb and the Independent constantly being removed? The justification for including them is that they relate and are integral to Kash's background and his tenure at TOTP. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.86.164.251 (talk) 20:53, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'll ask again - why insist on deleting reliable, NPOV references from the page? Could it be because the references detail Kash's lower points in his career, something the changed article doesn't do (instead, preferring to use colourful language that portray him in an unverifiable good light - ironic, given the claims against the BBC News, Independent and IMDb's supposedly unverifiable content)? It's also telling that the changes are made by accounts whose activity has only been to remove all negative, but important references to Kash. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.150.82.154 (talk) 11:16, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Full protection[edit]

I've fully protected this article for 3 days. I have intentionally protected the current version, as it's always better to protect a BLP without potentially contentious material than with. Please take this issue to WP:BLPN. Keep in mind that unsourced negative/contentious statements about living people must be removed immediately, and re-adding them is a big no-no. User's may also want to consider WP:RS, as I'm not sure that all of those so-called "references" actually meet our guidelines. Qwyrxian (talk) 06:25, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Negative TOTP info[edit]

Does anyone have any live links, or copies of old articles, that verify that Kash specifically (not just the show) was criticised? The only RS in the section is a dead link; this doesn't necessarily preclude it from being used, but since a lot of the rest of the section was badly sourced or didn't quite match the sources, I'm concerned. Qwyrxian (talk) 00:02, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In order to be fully WP:BLP compliant, I've replaced those sources with some that are still live and more clear. They don't talk about Kash as directly the problem, so the section has been revised accordingly. However, if reliable reviews can be found that ascribe part of the problem to Kash, then that info could be re-added. Qwyrxian (talk) 00:20, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
