Ship naming[edit]

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ship/names.htm describes how ships are named. In this article I have removed the italics on LST-819 as LST is the abbreviation for the ship type, not name. --S. Rich (talk) 04:41, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
