Menehune, et al.[edit]

The Malagasy aren't the only Austronesian people with a tradition of small people who were earlier inhabitants: the Hawaiians had the Menehune, and some of the traditions about the Moriori people in New Zealand are a little reminiscent as well. I wouldn't be surprised if there were others, but I don't remember any offhand. There might be some kind of inherited tradition involved. Chuck Entz (talk) 06:42, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
