Confusion between this structure and the sabil-kuttab of Qaytbay on Saliba street[edit]
I noticed that in the intro, and perhaps elsewhere, some of the information provided is not about this building (i.e. the wikala-sabil-kuttab of Qaytbay near al-Azhar) but actually about the sabil-kuttab of Qaytbay built much further south on Saliba street (not far from the Ibn Tulun Mosque and the complex of Shaykhu, etc). One of the sources cited (Blair and Bloom, Architecture of Islam 1250-1800, p. 92) actually talks about the structure on Saliba street, not this one, which seems to be part of the confusion. For example, the structure talked about here is not actually a "freestanding sabil-kuttab", because of course the sabil-kuttab is part of the wikala/wakala; whereas the one on Saliba street is indeed freestanding and is not part of a wikala. Unfortunately the sabil-kuttab of Qaytbay on Saliba street (which is beautiful, by the way) does not have its own page yet, I think. I will make some edits to the intro section to fix this, but the rest of the article may need to be scrutinized for any mixed-up information too. Moving page for minor name change[edit]
Moving the page to a slightly different name, so just giving an explanation here for any discussion (did the same at Wikala of Sultan Qaytbay). There's no clear-cut name for this building but since the main structure of the historical monument is the wikala/wakala and since "sabil-kuttab-wakala" is a bit complicated, I'm changing it to "Wikala and Sabil-Kuttab of Sultan Qaytbay". "Wikala" and "Wakala" appear to be almost interchangeable spellings in English but "Wikala" seems to be used a little more widely (e.g. DiscoverIslamicArt, the Lonely Planet travel guide, and in the well-known Practical Guide to Islamic Monuments in Cairo). And lastly, Qait Bay's name has many English spellings but "Qaytbay" is one of the most, if not the most, common spelling used in the art history sources. "Qaytbay" is also used already at Complex of Sultan al-Ashraf Qaytbay and Wikala of Sultan Qaytbay so it's worth making it easier for readers to understand from the page name that all these buildings are connected to the same patron.
