The "irony" of Oltmans portraying deMohrenschildt[edit]

It's intentional irony, same as casting Jim Garrison to portray Earl Warren. This section makes it sound like it just oddly enough happened that way. 71.65.248.32 (talk) 12:36, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dollars[edit]

I changed the 8 million guilders / 4 million dollars. With the current dollar rate it is about 5.6 million dollar. The euro/guilder rate is static (2.20371 guilders = 1 euro). With the dollar going down more and more every day, it seems more useful to put the euro amount and guilder amount in it; or someone should change the article every day.

Friendship With De Mohrenschildt[edit]

According to De Mohrenschildt's manuscript about Oswald, "I Am A Patsy! I Am A Patsy!", Oltmanns and De Mohrenschildt became friends after 1967:

"From that moment on, this Dutch journalist, who initially approached us, because he had received indications that we might be involved indirectly through Oswald with the Kennedy assassination, became a very personal friend . He has visited us every year since 1967."

This is only part of the manuscript (see the HSCA report on him below HSCA Vol.12 deMohrenschildt for the full and complete typescript manuscript).) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.198.59.52 (talk) 20:47, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An audio version of this memoir in MP3 format is available from an online bookseller as of 12/9/17. According to Oltmans' words on this audio recording, Oltmans helped De Mohrenschildt and his wife make this recording in Dallas, Texas, in February 1969.
