South or west of Nairobi?[edit]

The Nairobi, Kenya page says that "Wilson Airport is a small, busy airport to the west of Nairobi." This article says it is "five kilometres south of Nairobi." Which is correct? 66.234.220.195 (talk) 17:20, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is located south of Nairobi. I fixed the error on Nairobi page Julius Sahara (talk) 21:22, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Year of Foundation[edit]

Does anyone know what is the source for the 1933 date? The Aero Club of East Africa website says that the new Nairobi Aerodrome was first used on 19 February 1929 (http://aeroclubea.com/history.htm). They have been at Wilson Airport from the beginning so the club records should be a reliable source. Andrew Hennigan (talk) 13:40, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

– Looking at the disambiguation page, this article is clearly the primary topic for "Wilson Airport". The only other airport named "Wilson Airport" does not have an article. sstflyer 08:20, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
