A Daisy in December

According to this news article in The Republican, Horan wrote "A Daisy in December" "after finding a lone flower that had survived the savage weather on a beach in Connemara, Ireland". Wikifying

I am a little confused about why the {{wikify}} tag was added to the 'Discography' section. With the exception of the cover versions of After the Gold Rush (song) and To Make You Feel My Love (perhaps those ought to be linked...), none of the tracks have articles or are likely to be individually notable, so there is no reason to wikilink them. I was thinking more in terms of formatting, rather than Wikilinks, for the Discography section. The albums could conceivably have their own articles (which then would have to demonstrate notability), and for typical musician biography articles like this one, the Discography section is usually just a list of titles even if album articles do not exist. (Here's a good example: The Holmes Brothers.) Since the two cover versions are of historical interest they could be discussed (and linked) in the section about Ms. Horan's history and biography. Otherwise, lists of all the songs on each album are probably not merited, per precedent. Though I admit that this is a matter of opinion. Consider these remarks and if you think no changes are really necessary, feel free to remove the Wikify tag. We're all volunteers and Ms. Horan is lucky to have some folks on her side. The albums do not appear to be individually notable. I know that most musician biography articles simply list the album titles—a practice which, in the end, may perhaps contribute to the creation of separate articles about non-notable albums—but the existence of {{Discography list}} presents the opportunity to include information which otherwise would not belong anywhere. I suppose that the full list of songs could be removed (even now it is technically supposed to be collapsed to one line, but {{tracklist}} is not functioning properly) if there is consensus within WikiProject Songs that song lists should not be provided in biographies. Admittedly, the full track list is not overly relevant to the topic of the article (the musician)... -- Black Falcon ^(talk) 22:29, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

A current member of the faculty of The New England Conservatory

This appears to be old news: I followed the cited link and she was not listed on the Conservatory's faculty page. This should be updated with correct dates. I also did a search for her on the site and got one definitive hit, a 2017 item that mentioned her as a "faculty coach".

BTW, this article is a link rot mess: of the 21 citations, 1 is disputed and 14 are dead links. This is a shame given the notability of this subject.
