Name problem[edit]

The actual name is Yaduvanshi Ahir not Yaduvanshi Aheer. All sources mention this community as Ahir and not Aheer. Hcsrctu (talk) 11:27, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I completely understand; there's an existing redirect by the name 'Yaduvanshi Ahir', that's the reason why the creator of the article used this name, I mean 'Yaduvanshi Aheer'. Pinging experienced editors in order to review the article content and suggest the way forward regarding the article name! @Fylindfotberserk, Kautilya3, LukeEmily, and Admantine123: would request for your opinion/suggestion regarding the article name as well as the content. @Ekdalian: No, you did not understand. This means forcefully changing the name of a community and create confusion among people. all the historians and scholars have written Ahir as Ahir and not Aheer. I notice that Sitush had defined this page to redirect this page to Ahir clans. That is the right thing to do. I don't see why it has been expanded into a separate page. @Ekdalian and Hcsrctu:, I agree with both @Kautilya3: and @Fylindfotberserk:. If Sitush redirected this page, can we add all the content in Ahir Clans?
