Station Name[edit]

I don't believe that the name of this station was ever "Yarmouthport".

All of the old timetables on this link: Cape Cod passenger railroad timetables from the past have the station name listed as just "Yarmouth".

Before I consider fixing this I would like to know what others think. FFM784 (talk) 03:41, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

My feeling at the moment is that it would be best for the stations on Cape Cod to be referred to, as almost all of them are, using the the official name as they appeared in the operating railroads timetables. FFM784 (talk) 02:54, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

– With stations known as "Yarmouth" in Massachusetts and England, the term has no clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC by sources or pageviews, so a disambiguation page should occupy the base name. The dab is better named in sentence case to match most of its entries. The qualifier for the Massachusetts station is chosen per WP:USSTATION and for consistency with Brewster station (Massachusetts) etc. Certes (talk) 21:02, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
