Source for Violins[edit]

Could a source be added for “Guarneri filius Andrea 1703” under “Violins”

Thank you very much 24.64.118.239 (talk) 01:29, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discography[edit]

No discography?Dogru144 (talk) 22:09, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No-one's tried to add one. They're not that common on articles about classical musicians for some reason. If you want to try adding one, feel free; here's the relevant guideline. Graham87 06:46, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Requires punctuation...[edit]

... or has something missing.

'His first public appearance took place as an accompanist Menuhin was five years old at the time'

Accompanying whom, and performing what? 60.242.68.138 (talk) 04:02, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note; I've removed it as it appears to have been left over from this edit. Graham87 (talk) 19:56, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should have a section on his postwar performance struggles[edit]

This has been well attested, and admitted by Menuhin himself. As he matured he realized he could no longer play on instinct. He was struggling, nervous, out of tune. He had to relearn how to play the violin, a long and difficult process but ultimately successful. This is what got him interested in yoga (which the article does mention).68.196.7.190 (talk) 20:52, 14 May 2024 (UTC)captcrisis[reply]
