Hi @Digie86, I'm declining this edit request because the source given isn't good enough for what you want adding. The website you've given appears to be Ettinger's own website, and while (per WP:ABOUTSELF) that can be used as a reliable source for simple facts about the subject, the things you want adding, such as his date of birth, don't appear to be on that website (not at first glance anyway). The other paragraph you want adding about the website would need other independent sources to be added to the article (for example, He is an expert, according to whom?). If you need help with references, this page might help you, and I will soon add a box to the top of this talk page with links to find reliable sources about Ettinger. You could also visit the reference desk. Once you've found reliable sources, you can re-submit another edit request. The career section that you added to the page appears to have been removed by Buidhe per WP:NOTCV. If you need any more help, click here to find where you can get help. Thanks. Some proposed changes[edit]

Thank you for considering the following changes.

Information to be added:

Ettinger is a former Israeli Consul General to the United States and an official in various capacities in the Rabin, Begin, and Shamir governments from the 1980s to the early 1990s. His positions have included being head of a government Middle East research unit from 1976-1985, Consul General in Houston from 1985-1988, Director of the Israeli Government Press Office from 1988-1989, and the Minister for Congressional Affairs at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC from 1989-1992. (this is from ref #1).

He is widely recognized as an expert on Mideast politics and U.S.-Israel relations, considered among the most knowledgeable analysts of the Arab-Israeli conflict and also a leader at examining, analyzing, and publicizing the transformation of Jewish and Arab demography in the region. He is co-founder of the America-Israel Demographic Research group, a team of three American and six Israeli researchers. His numerous op-eds are published in Israel and America and is frequently interviewed on Israeli and American TV and radio. (this is from ref #2,#3,#4)

Explanation of issue: Can you please clarify why my previous request to adjust the Infobox was declined?
