Was nominated far too late after promotion to GA status; as the nominator has no prior DYK nominations I considered asking WT:DYK for an IAR exemption, but ultimately a two month delay was too long given the circumstances.

  • ... that the poems of classical Turkmen poet Magtymguly are often quoted as proverbs by Turkmen communities (pictured)? Source: Bakulin, F. "The Turkmen's Songs and Their Poet, Makhtumkuli." Journal of Makhtumkuli Studies 1 (1997).

  • Article reached GA status on May 4, well over 7 days ago. It looks like a great candidate for DYK but unfortunately it just doesn't meet the 7 day eligibility rule. If it had been nominated a couple months ago I'd approve it in a heartbeat BuySomeApples (talk) 09:05, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
