Template:Infobox station/Header GR/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template implements custom headers for the infoboxes of all railway stations in Greece.

Presently, the headers cannot be integrated into {{#invoke:Adjacent stations}}, due to the lack of support for variable backgrounds, outer borders, conditional icons, and conditional line colours.

Usage[edit]

{{Infobox station/Header GR
| name_el =
| name =
| mode =
| mode_2 =
| line =
| line_2 =
}}
  • |name_el= Station name in Greek, as it appears on the signage
  • |name= Station name in English, as it appears on the signage
  • |mode= First mode of transport served
  • |mode_2= Second mode of transport served (optional, requires |mode= to be set)
  • |line= First metro line or mode stripe
  • |line_2= Second metro line or mode stripe (optional)

Mode values[edit]

|mode= and |mode_2= supports the following values, but |mode_2= will not work unless |mode= is set:

Mode Value Output
Hellenic Railways Organisation S Hellenic Railways Organisation
Hellenic Railways Organisation SO Diakopto–Kalavryta railway
Athens International Airport
(appears as white on a blue background)
AA Athens International Airport
Athens Metro AM Athens Metro
Athens Suburban Railway AS Athens Suburban Railway
Athens Tram AT Athens Tram
Patras Suburban Railway PS Patras Suburban Railway
Thessaloniki Suburban Railway TS Thessaloniki Suburban Railway

In accordance with the situation on the ground, transit symbols (mode and mode_2) should be avoided on Athens Metro stations, except for:

The logo of Hellenic Train should not be used because they do not operate stations, similar to Renfe in Spain.

|line= and |line_2= supports the following values. There is no stripe for Athens Suburban Railway stations from Acharnes Railway Center to Chalcis.

Mode Value Colour Notes
Athens Metro, Line 1 AM1 #007A33

Technical information[edit]

The mode icons will not appear in hard copies or mobile versions of articles that use this header: the former is to conserve printer ink, and the latter is to improve navigation on small screens.

History[edit]

This template replaced {{Infobox station/Header OASA}}, ahead of the opening of the Thessaloniki Metro.
