General information[edit]

Source code[edit]

{} ({})

Purpose[edit]

This template is meant to be used in sports results tables such as those in the Olympic medalists in biathlon article.

The template generates the following consecutive horizontal sequence of elements:

 • the miniature flag of a nation,
 • the name of an athlete, and
 • the IOC code of the nation (three letters, see References), linked to the nation's article;

the emphasized characters above giving the rationale for the template's title.

Usage[edit]

There are two parameters:

 1. the athlete's name (linked to or not), and
 2. the IOC code of the athlete's country.

Calling the template is done like this: name.

Example[edit]

Source code, using the template:

width="200px"|Sven Fischer
width="200px"|Ole Einar Bjørndalen
width="200px"|Raphaël Poirée
