Singleton and null sets[edit]

I'm having trouble marking up null and singleton sets. I expect

{{tmath|x {{=}} x \cup {{mset|x}}, y {{=}} {{mset}} }}

to render as $x$ = $x$ $\cup$ { x }, $y$ = {}, but instead it renders as

$x=x\cup {x},y={}$

Adding a pipe resolves the issue for the null set, but still leaves the problem with the singleton set. -- Shmuel (Seymour J.) Metz Username:Chatul (talk) 14:20, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
