I prefer to contribute to Wikipedia annonimously, as I do this solely for pleasure, and to improve the information and insights about Rio de Janeiro and Brazil in English.

Here are some details of my background: I was born and raised in Ipanema. I have worked as an English teacher and translator for almost twenty years at prestigious institutions including Berlitz Language Schools. I have a Graduate degree in Tourism, and run successfully a legally established travel agency based in Ipanema, in Rio de Janeiro, with a tradition of 12 years in the market. As a travel agent I've had the opportunity of visiting many countries. I am fluent in six languages, and working my way to the seventh.
