The ROOTT dental implant system was developed by company Trate AG in Switzerland. This system is a developed set of several treatment methods compliant with the ECRS implantology principles of the Open Dental Community, providing safe and simple solutions to a wide range of daily and specialist clinical cases. Based on half of century of collective experience in cosmetic and functional dentistry, the Roott system is the first system using only currently used and tested treatment procedures.
The ROOTT system, using the ROOTTCONCEPT, had the advantage of dispending with the overcomplicated treatment procedures recommended by implant manufacturers who are interested in promoting their products on the market. Rootform implants are the most popular among all types of dental implants in the whole world. The main advantage of one piece implants is that after healing period there is no need for second surgery for exposing. Dental implant abutment has to be connected and the restoration process can be started immediately.
Basal implants[edit]
Basal implants are one piece implants which are used to create multiple unit restorations in both jaws. They can be placed in extraction sockets and in healed bone. The structural characteristics allow to place Basal implant in bone that is deficient in height or width.
