KPS Payyanadam is a dramatist, director, cultural activist, and orator. He is also known as a social cultural activist.
Biography:[edit]
Date of Birth: April 13, 1953
Place of Birth: Kanjirapuzha Panchayat, Mannarkkad Taluk
Parents: Kozhipparambil Kunjahammed, Chengatil Pathumma Umma
In 1954, KPS's family moved to Payyanedam, Kumaramputhur Panchayat.
He completed his graduation in 1974 from MES Kalladi College. In 1980, he joined Calicut University as an Assistant Registrar and retired in 2008.
KPS has been active in the field of drama since 1971 and continues to be involved.
He writes short stories and essays in periodicals and has published collections of short stories and essays.
Currently, he serves as the vice president of the National Association of Malayalam Artists, Palakkad district committee, and is a member of the Indian People's Theater Association. He also holds positions in various libraries and cultural organizations.
KPS has directed a short film and a documentary named "Keralathinte Kalocha" - a short history of Mannarkkad.
