Washington State Militia[edit]
The Washington State Militia is an unofficial civilian-driven paramilitary organization which was mainly active during the first half of the tenth decade of the twentieth century of the Common Era within the territory of the State of Washington. It was founded in 1993. During its active years, the membership of the Militia was estimated to number in the hundreds. The Washington State Militia was formed for the purpose of guarding against foreign invasion and governmental domestic tyranny and preserving the American Constitutional right to keep and bear arms (see Second Amendment to the United States Constitution)[1].
