I strongly support Wikipedia's mission to be a source of free information, free from bias and promotion. I primarily write about content I think is interesting. In specific circumstances I have written articles that I have a conflict of interest with. I fully support transparency. People should be able to know if an article they are reading potentially has bias. This page exists in that spirit.

Propel (company)

In 2024, I wrote a draft for the article Propel (company) while employed as a software engineer at the company. As an employee accepting a salary from the company, I have a financial conflict of interest that may introduce bias. However, public relations or online promotion are not part of my job's responsibilities. I was not rewarded (financially or otherwise) to write about the company on any website. In fact, no one has asked me to write anything or had any knowledge I was doing so. No other person at the company provided input in the content of the article.
