Some background...

I have been an automotive machinist for over 20 years(my favorite career, moved on because of poor pay/working conditions), 5 years of which we built and fielded a successful NASCAR late model car on a 1/2 mile asphalt track. Currently I am an electronics technician for a major municipality in the pacific northwest, and have been in the field of radio/microwave electronics for the last 15 years.
