In this essay, I explain how you fellow Wikipedians can end all that stupid bias regarding Egyptian politics, in particular the 2013 revolution that led to Morsi being removed from power, the pro-Brotherhood masses leading protests against the government, aaand... yeah, cleaning all that crap up. Well, I'll explain further in the following sections how you can get rid of it all. Keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and a wiki, not a goddamn newspaper that's slanted toward events that just happened recently! Dude, that's not what Wikipedians like me want. We want to keep a neutral point of view, which means that Wikipedia is not pro-Brotherhood at all.

Background

Okay, so as Egyptians did their second revolution in 2013, the June 30th Revolution, a 48-hour deadline was issued to Morsi so that he could solve the issues the Egyptians had with him. Yeah. He just didn't care, and believed what was gonna happen next was a coup.

So did the Brotherhood.

Then on July 3rd, he got removed.

However, a buncha fools at the mainstream media, particularly liberal ones like CNN or the BBC, thought that was the case, and broadcast it out. "Morsi overthrown in coup" was that kind of message that negated the revolution's importance and denied it (mostly).

Anyway, Turkey's pro-Brotherhood regime trusts the Brotherhood.

How you can help

Do these things in order to get rid of all this stupid POV:

1. Don't call the removal of Morsi a coup just because media says that. Use common sense and follow WP:IAR. In this case, ignore WP:POVNAMING if you're gonna rename the article on his removal.
2. Try rewriting entire pages to make them sound more neutral. I, for example, modified the entirety of Rabia sign to remove a lot of POV.
3. Try using Egyptian local sources. If you don't speak Arabic, like I do, try Al-Ahram's English-language website, Ahram Online, as well as Daily News Egypt. These two are reliable sources that are fully Egyptian-made. Alternatively, try using Google Translate to translate the contents of Arabic-language Egyptian news sites, but beware of inaccuracies you find. If you're fluent in Arabic, you can just use the Arabic sites if you wish. Remember not to use pro-Brotherhood sources or Al Jazeera. You may use respected reliable sources from the Western world, but don't use their wordings and don't always report events from a one-sided perspective like most Wikipedians do.
4. Try editing certain pages, in particular ones related to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and its factions, to remove unwanted statements and POV.
5. And try to follow the Manual of Style while doing all the above.
