This is a great article on a subject that I am very interested in. It is written in a style that is easy to read and understand. In would be useful to have additional information about the midget series wired incandescent bulbs that have a shunt in their design to prevent the "one bulb goes out the all go out" syndrome that was a problem with the older C6 sets and others. Also how bulb coloring is achieved, such as inside opague painted C7 1/2 and C9 bulbs as well as the midget bulbs that look like they are dipped in a translucent finish. And then there are the hi tech LEDs do not use paint or dye to achieve their color. Including the sometimes painful to look at blue!
