Hurrem Sultan

She was indeed a Queen she was the wife of a king which makes her a Queen. The word Sultan Means Male Or Female Ruler so she was a Queen, and that title did exist in the Ottoman Empire, im Turkish I know — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.49.211.227 (talk) 07:35, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

The word "Queen" does not only mean "Ruler", it also mean "[the Only) wife of a ruler". Look at the difference between a "queen regnant" and a "queen consort", which are both called "queen". The Ottoman empire had a different culture, and there is not equivalent to queen. The original titles should be used, which is of no problem what so ever. Speedy deletion nomination of Teréz Karacs

Hello Aciram,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Teréz Karacs for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. PawanAhuja (talk) 18:47, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

You're welcome to join the project and suggest further topics, it covers all missing articles, not jsut those on other wikis!♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:27, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
For your great efforts to improve coverage of Balkan women! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:29, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Thank you. I will paste this on my page with pride. My field of interest is women in history (right now, from the Balkans, as they seem to be neglected here), and I am glad it is appreciated!--Aciram (talk) 22:32, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Well, you're in good company, Rosie and Susun regular write women articles and the Intertranswiki project inevitably as a focus on women in numerous rounds, so you're welcome also to propose things like "Austrian women scholars" etc.♦ Dr. Blofeld 06:24, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

It seems like I am in a sudden flow of appreciation some how! I am glad that these subjects are getting attention because of my initiative to start articles about them. --Aciram (talk) 22:01, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
