Controversial topic area alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. — Newslinger talk 00:29, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

February 2021[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Bajrang Dal, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 00:48, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi AryanBaviskar! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Bajrang Dal that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 00:48, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at User:Pepperbeast, you may be blocked from editing. Abroad in Japan[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, and changing sourced content, as you did on Abroad in Japan. You keep altering it to label him as a comedian and altering his profession from influencer to comedian when all sources state Influencer. Additionally changing his associates to comedian. None of the sources support this, the interview, the other sources etc. Stop changing things without sources. These people being comedians is purely your own personal opinion. If you continue to add unsourced content, and change sourced content against the references, you may be blocked from editing. Canterbury Tail talk 11:42, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Canterbury Tail. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

Edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

Your edits[edit]

Note when editing you should follow the WP:BRD cycle. If you edit, and someone reverts you, you then take it to the talk page to get consensus. The only thing that happens if you continue to make the edit is you are edit warring and it would result in you being blocked. To be honest, given your past editing history there is a question around your competence to edit Wikipedia. Practically every single edit you've ever made has been reverted for one reason or another. Additionally communication is required and if you don't engage on an article's talk page then you're increasingly likely to be blocked for pursuing non-collaborative editing. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and that collaboration is required. If someone reverts you, don't start edit warring, talk about it. Canterbury Tail talk 16:07, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Sourav Joshi (September 23)[edit]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by DGG was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia.
DGG ( talk ) 05:28, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Sourav Joshi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Continued unsourced additions[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 12:48, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Slow burn edit warring and disruptive editing[edit]

I notice you are continuing a slow burn edit war on Abroad in Japan to continually add unsourced information to the article. You do not have to break 3RR to be edit warring, continually performing the same edits that are reverted by others over an extended period of time counts as an edit war. Looking through all your edits and the amount of them that have been reverted by multiple users, it's becoming clear that either you are not here to collaboratively build an encyclopaedic or you lack the competence to edit the encyclopaedia. Also judging by the amount of warnings and notices on your talk page. If your edits continue on the pattern you have been going down it is likely you will end up with your account blocked. Canterbury Tail talk 12:54, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reinstatement of blatant vandalism[edit]

I don't think it was your intention, you may only have though I reverted you, but with this edit you reinstated blatant vandalism that I was reverting. "The Most Exalted Order of the Farter"? Really? Canterbury Tail talk 14:34, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
