August 2020[edit]

Hello Astghik Manukyan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Vazgen Manukyan, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are related to, or represent the subject of that article. Your recent contributions have already been undone for this very reason. You added a lot of unsourced information, all content must be supported by a reliable source with an inline citation. All material in articles must be verifiable. Verifiability, no original research, and neutral point of view are Wikipedia's core content policies.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing.

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Isaidnoway (talk) 07:41, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COI at Vazgen Manukyan[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you have a conflict of interest at Vazgen Manukyan, but you have still edited the article. As stated in WP:COIEDIT, users with a conflict of interest, "are strongly discouraged from editing affected articles directly" (their emphasis). Although this does not mean that you can't edit the article, I still strongly recommend that you do not make additional edits to Vazgen Manukyan. Instead, you can add your proposed information to the request edit you have already opened on the talk page. I know that it has been a long time since someone has reviewed your request but please know that it will be looked at. I have added a conflict of interest tag to the top of the page so that another editor will review the changes. If you have any questions, please post at the help desk (click me!). Thanks and happy editing! Z1720 (talk) 03:27, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Z1720,

I added only sources or links to the existing wiki text. If I am not allowed to add even reliable sources, then I will not. Frankly, I think it's an absurd, but what can I say. Regards, --Astghik Manukyan (talk) 08:44, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Astghik Manukyan, instead of adding the sources to the article yourself, I recommend you post them on the talk page and another editor will assess if they need to be included. Z1720 (talk) 14:53, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

OK Z1720, although it is difficult for me as I am not very much experienced editor and also it is time consuming. --Astghik Manukyan (talk) 16:39, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
