Actuaries[edit]

Hi Robert,

Do you know the difference between an outgoing actuary and a shy actuary? The shy actuary stares at his own shoes, but the outgoing actuary stares at your shoes.

Enjoy some more actuarial humor. — Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) 17:05, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Punctuation[edit]

Check WP:LQ.

Wikipedia standard is NOT to place all punctuation within the quotes. -- Ian Dalziel (talk) 11:01, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Editing talk pages[edit]

Greetings, AustinTexasRRTX, and welcome to Wikipedia. I moved your post about gun law liability from the article to the talk page, and you can see it there at Talk:Gun laws in the United States (by state)#Liability. In general, to post on a talk page for an article, you would (1) go to the article and (2) click on Discussion, near the upper left, which will take you to the talk page for the article. Once there, can you post edits to discuss the article. For adding to an existing talk page section you would click on the Edit link to the right of the section header, like you did on the Alabama section of the article itself. Or you can start a new section by clicking on the New Section tab, near the upper right. Anyway, I recommend reading the Wikipedia:Tutorial, it's a great introduction to editing Wikipedia. (If you reply here I will see what you say.) Mudwater (Talk) 22:18, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
