Jackson (village), Wisconsin[edit]

You need to add citations to the Jackson (village), Wisconsin article. Thank you-RFD (talk) 23:11, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I shouldn't need citation if information comes from personal knowledge and experience.

Wikipedia has to be based off of reliable, published sources so that anyone can verify the article's content. I'm sure what you're adding is true, but that's not enough on Wikipedia: it also needs to be verifiable. Perhaps the information is on the village's site somewhere? so you prefer a lacking and inaccurate page versus an interesting and accurate page?

I did some searching, and I have managed to find sources to support most of the content you added, so I've put that content back in and cited the sources. If, in the future, you want to add more content to Wikipedia, it's best to do a bit of searching and find sources to back it up. This page explains how to cite the sources once you find them. Recent edit to Robert F. Kennedy[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! DemocraticLuntz (talk) 23:19, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's because you prefer political bias. Wikipedia should be bias free and only provide information

Comments about editing[edit]

Please don't put comments about editing an article in the article itself, as you did at Jackson (village), Wisconsin. Discussion about editing belongs not in articles, but in talk pages, such as Talk:Jackson (village), Wisconsin.
