Please do not violate copyright, and please use talk pages for article improvement[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Scythians are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Your addition to Talk:Scythians has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Ian.thomson (talk) 20:51, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

August 2012[edit]

Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Scythians. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 14:15, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted, as you did at Talk:Scythians. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
